Job Description:
We are looking for a Plaster Technician / Orthopaedic Technician / Orthopaedic Practitioner to work part time on Mondays and Tuesdays

You should be competent to remove and apply casts to patients, at the doctors request following an accident, for elective Orthopaedic conditions and/or following surgery.

You will be expected to be able to work with a variety of casting materials: a range of resin coated materials, fiberglass, polypropylene and polyester substrates.

Primarily we are recruiting qualified technicians/nurses who hold the British Casting Certificate (BCC). This certificate is recognised by the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA); the Society of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing (SOTN) of the Royal College of Nursing; and the Association of Orthopaedic Practitioners - UK (AOP)
